Star role models

Artists who inspire the next generation which will shape the future of our society and the next chapter of humanity.

Hungarian Connection Gala youth performers have been fortunate to meet, and on several occasions learn from or perform with world renowned artists.

A single captivating experience can have the power to inspire a child for a lifetime. Having mentors and role models who are outstanding artists and human beings is more important than ever.

Joe meeting Sergei Polunin in Sacramento after Sergei performed with Estas Tonne at the historic Crest Theatre was an experience of a lifetime for the young ballet dancer.

Joe is dedicated to his strict ballet education and continues to work on his technique down to the finest detail. His passion, perseverance and motivation is outstanding. His discipline and professionalism is paired with a great spirit and playfulness. Joe loves costumes and props and of course being able to dance with all the girls in his class.

"For a child only the best is good enough, anything else is harmful"

~Zoltan Kodaly

Goals and achivements prepare our children for SUCCESS

Building cultural competence from an early age creates an understanding, compassionate generation respecting diversity while celebrating cultural identity.

When children experience the treasures of foreign cultures they become captivated by the sounds, colors, dances and costumes at first, but they soon develop a general curiosity and thirst for more information and experiences. Having a positive image of faraway lands opens their eyes as become well educated, open hearted adults with an appreciation for the arts and cultural heritage.
